- Far fewer people are Blogging and they’re Blogging Less than the last time I had an RSS reader (RIP Google Reader), so there’s way less to read.
- None of the feeds I follow are trying to be, like, A Blog Building an Audience For Engagement. Most of them maybe post once a week! When they have something to post about!
- I am currently using a browser extension that sits in my extension menu. I click into it once or twice a day and I read stuff. I receive no notifications about when new things are posted, they are just there or not when I open it.
- It’s just, nice.
- I’ve got a good mix of old friends, new friends, people writing about their craft…I’ve stayed away so far from the Curatorial things (I don’t need a link rundown! Brain Pickings, DNI)
- I dunno it just feels…manageable.
- People who have been blogging forever probably know all of this
